Washington DC.- Once again, buses with undocumented immigrants arrived near the residence in the US capital of Vice President Kamala Harris, in charge of immigration issues.

A group of migrants was dropped off in front of Harris’ Washington home on Christmas Eve, when temperatures were minus 7 degrees. Some of the undocumented were wearing only T-shirts.

Aid organizations gave them blankets and put them on another bus to a local church.

The Governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, has sent dozens of buses with migrants to states governed by Democrats this year as a form of protest against the immigration policy of President Joe Biden.

Abbott’s move has received strong criticism from human rights organizations.

On December 15, two buses full of undocumented immigrants coming from the Mexican border were unloaded near Harris’s home as part of the battle over the government’s immigration policies.

Two days later, a bus with 50 migrants, the majority of Venezuelan origin, was sent back to the Washington residence of the Vice President of the United States.

According to local media, the migrants transferred by Governor Abbott arrived in the vicinity of the Naval Observatory, the traditional home of the US Vice Presidents.

Since April, the Texas government has bused some 8,000 undocumented immigrants to Washington.

The state has also moved about 2,200 people to New York and 300 to Chicago.
