Mexico City.- Thirteen days after Lesly Martínez disappeared, her family does not have any clues that would allow her to be located, nor information on progress from the prosecutor’s offices in Mexico City and the State of Morelos.

On the night of April 30, the 30-year-old woman contacted her family when she was returning from Morelos, where she had traveled in the company of her ex-partner, identified as Alejandro Alberto “N”, who already has a search file. by the authorities.

The call that he had at 9:00 p.m. with his parents is the last trace that is available. Since then, little progress has been made, explained Iscar Martínez, Lesly’s brother, yesterday.

“So far there is nothing in progress or in the search, there is no trace of where her ex-partner could have left her or her whereabouts, but there is already a complaint for forced disappearance against him and a file has also been raised search,” he said.

Gabriela Colín Sánchez, Lesly’s mother, assured that her daughter suffered physical and verbal violence from Alejandro Alberto.

“She stopped seeing him because I talked to her, I told her: ‘daughter, that guy should not be your partner’, not even his friend,” Gabriela explained.

Today, family and friends held a march on Paseo de la Reforma to make the case visible and demand that the authorities speed up the investigations.

“There is a family that is looking for her, some children that are waiting for her at home and the request that we would make to the prosecutor’s office is that they please do not drop the case, because we are not going to stop until we find her,” he said. Diana Ramírez, Lesly’s sister-in-law.

Throughout this week, searches have been organized in the area of ​​Lake Tequesquitengo, the Amacuzac River and Parres El Guarda to try to locate the young woman.

But so far, the tours have not yielded any kind of result.

On May 9, the family went to the Morelos Prosecutor’s Office and it was not until then that they were informed that the authorities had a statement from relatives of Alejandro Alberto, in which it was established that he had confessed to the femicide. The man’s search file was released after this.
