During this week’s regular session, at the request of the national deputy Diosnel Aguilera (PLRA), the plenary session of the Lower House gave its approval to the project “Which urges the Executive Power – Social Welfare Institute (IPS) to annul the validity of the amending addendum to the call to tender ID429960 – LPN SBE 37 – 23 – Acquisition of sheet kits and others for hospital use”.
The legislators approved this initiative without question, in the space of motions for treatment on tables.

According to these merchants, the terms and conditions contained very specific requirements with relation to the type of fabric.
This fact meant that only one national company could comply with the call and all the others were left without the possibility of competition, according to the claims that became public.
The total amount of the tender is G. 17.545.733.588.
