Mauricio Macri, during the meeting with legislators / Twitter

Former President Mauricio Macri continues to be active in the midst of the uncertainty regarding a possible candidacy. Yesterday he led a meeting of the Forum of Provincial Legislators of the PRO that was held in Bariloche, where he shot against the administration of Alberto Fernández. “It is a government of liars,” he launched.

But Macri not only focused his criticism on the national government but also took a harsh aim at the governors. “They are part of the problem, because they don’t let their provinces develop,” he said.

Already getting into the electoral issue, he sought to mark the north that the opposition should follow. Within this framework, he proposed “having leadership and commitment, but above all an inalienable conviction in change.” And he added: “Unity is important, but what we cannot negotiate is change, because that is the way for our children and our grandchildren to live in a better country,” he said.

“Here there is no dispute between the Capital and the provinces, as this government of liars wants to do to us. The real discussion is between those who work to generate wealth and those who appropriate it, ”she remarked in relation to the bid for national funds.
