Sequel to the first film released in 2018, the screenplay of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever had to be recast after the death of lead actor Chadwick Boseman, interpreter of the Wakandan monarch T’Challa, from colon cancer in August 2020. At the time, Marvel Studios made the decision not to recast the role. Proof of its phenomenal impact, Black Panther 2 garnered five 2023 Oscar nominations, and focuses primarily on T’Challa’s entourage and his legacy. This time, the adventure continues with the sister of the King of Wakanda, Shuri (Letitia Wright), who takes on the Black Panther costume. Black Panther 2 : when will it be released in France?

Unlike the United States, the film is not yet available in France on Disney+. The American company must comply with the requirements of the media chronology, which requires that a film released in theaters must wait 17 months before being available for streaming on Disney+. Therefore, it will be necessary to wait until at least April 2024 to find Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Baku, Okoye and the Dora Milaje in their fight to protect their national from the interference of world powers.
