When someone distracted asks what insecurity is, there is no doubt about the answer: what a family from San Carlos has just suffered. It is that the attack carried out yesterday by three armed criminals in his house of 138 between 45 and 46, had many seasonings, especially violence.
It all started early in the morning, minutes after nine, when a 22-year-old was cutting the grass on the sidewalk of the home.
Surely they saw him alone, engrossed in his task, and took the opportunity to act.
We are referring to three men who got out of a new gray Palio line. Apparently, in that sector of La Plata there was not a soul. That’s why they were able to carry out the plan as planned.
According to the victim’s account, except for the driver, who stayed in the vehicle holding on to his companions, the rest had their faces covered with wool caps.
“Come inside (sic)”, was the letter of introduction of one of the assailants, with a Latin tune. Of course, reinforced with a weapon, which was pointed directly at his head.
The idea of intruders seemed clear enough. They were looking for dollars and demanded their delivery.
At that moment, in the middle of a true nightmare, terrified, the boy extended his hand towards a small can, where there was a bill of 100 of the American currency. Something else insufficient for the authors of the savage coup.
For this, while he was being interrogated in a room on the first floor of the farm, the father was also reduced by another of the criminals on the ground floor.
Kneeling, trying to help them leave as quickly as possible, the man pointed to a closet and explained that, inside a drawer, they were going to find what they wanted.
Thus, in seconds, they were raised with about 5,000 more dollars, which would represent more than two million pesos to the blue value.
However, the demands continued and, since there was no more money, the threats and beatings began.
According to what the young man told the authorities, both he and his father were hit with their knees and with the butt of a pistol.
The worst was unleashed next, when who seemed to be the leader of the invading group, demanded one of his henchmen to cut off the boy’s finger.
With due obedience to his superior, one of the assailants looked for a Tramontine knife in the kitchen of the building, held the boy’s right index finger and caused a small cut.
Apparently, he pretended that he was going to amputate it, although fortunately he was left in the feint.
According to a source consulted by this newspaper, even though they had the situation under control, they wanted to generate reverential fear, nothing more than to cause psychological damage.
Still the questions continued. They wanted more money and asked for firearms, which were not there and could not be found. That is why they launched the last phase of the attack: the escape.
According to the same spokespersons, after gathering a PlayStation 4 with its respective joysticks and a 17-inch laptop, which they loaded into a white Nissan Versa owned by their father, they began the withdrawal together with the accomplice who was waiting for them outside.
The young man narrated that, at that moment of confusion, the attackers showed the intention of taking him captive in order to demand the payment of a ransom.
That’s why they took a rope and tied him up, although the boy never left the house. Fortunately, despite the fact that the physical punishment continued a little longer.
There were no details about the time it took the thieves to carry out the assault.
What was known is that they required the victims to take an hour to file a complaint or call 911, a necessary and sufficient period of time to be quite far from the place. Possibly out of town.
It is that it is one of the hypotheses that researchers were handling at the close of this edition.
That is why the raids pointed to different film equipment and security cameras on 44th avenue, in the direction of route 36.
