Hertha BSC once again has to face the interest of several clubs in a homegrown talent. As the ‘Bild’ reports, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Werder Bremen and Hamburger SV have put out feelers for U19 captain Pascal Klemens. The 18-year-old central defender currently only has a limited contract until the end of the season. However, thanks to an option, the old lady can extend the working paper to 2024 and thus prevent a departure this summer.

Klemens is a three-time German U18 international. At Hertha, the top talent was always allowed to get a taste of the pros. In winter, the native of Berlin traveled to the winter training camp in Florida with the Bundesliga team. Klemens has been in the professional squad for the past three games, but he has so far been denied his Bundesliga debut.
