The farewell rumors about Marcus Thuram have picked up speed again due to the World Cup appearances of the Frenchman. The circle of interested clubs kept growing, with Premier League clubs in particular keen to sign Thuram in winter.
However, as the ‘Bild’ reports, only Manchester United of the English clubs can hope for Thuram’s commitment. According to the tabloid, only four of the previously traded clubs are suitable for the 25-year-old: Inter Milan, Bayern Munich, Paris St. Germain and the Red Devils.
Thuram does not want to leave Borussia Mönchengladbach for other clubs – Aston Villa, Newcastle United or Arsenal FC can therefore save themselves further advances. Lilian Thuram’s son shouldn’t be available in winter anyway. Thuram junior doesn’t want to change until the summer.
Gladbach is also rescheduling
On the one hand, the market situation promises an even better-paid contract, on the other hand, the World Cup driver would like to end his mission in Gladbach. According to ‘Bild’, Thuram has set his sights on the top scorer in the Bundesliga.
Meanwhile, Borussia is said to have adjusted their plan with the massive offensive man. Those responsible now also prefer to stay until the summer. Participation in the European Cup in the coming season would almost make up for the lack of a fee. If Thuram stays until the end of the season, this goal is much more realistic.
