I also had a little something in Turkey. But I work by feel and on a human level.” Ultimately, the 30-year-old Frenchman opted for a transfer to Al Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia. Tisserand sees his time in Germany (including FC Ingolstadt) positively.

“It was a very good experience in Germany”continues the central defender, “Even before I went there, I really liked the league because of the speed and strict game ideas. I wanted to play in an attractive league like the Bundesliga.” Last weekend he was able to compete with Cristiano Ronaldo in a direct duel (0:1 against Al Nassr).
