The Minister of Social Development, Victoria Tolosa Paz, ruled out this Saturday the possibility that Vice President Cristina Kirchner is a presidential candidate, recalling that the former president already said that “it will not go in any section of the ballot in the next election.”
“She has already told all of us militants to go out to the military, to build the future, that she gave everything of herself, that she is not going to be a candidate, that she is not going to go anywhere on the ballot in the next election”, stressed Tolosa Paz.
After the rumor began to circulate that the head of the Senate could review her position of “not being a candidate for anything”, the national official specified: “I want to remind you that Cristina Fernández de Kirchner never in her political career let filter a decisionIt’s just as important as if she’s a candidate.”
“I have no other information than to know Cristina in how and in what way she communicates her decisions. And I do have the responsibility of not stopping before a plinth and news of journalistic significance,” he argued.
In radio statements, the Minister of Social Development pointed out: “The other day in (the act of) La Plata, before each reiterated chant of ‘Cristina Presidenta’, she said ‘I am not President’. In addition, at one point she said ‘say all of me.’ I think that sometimes it is difficult to listen to Cristina and it seems to me that we have an enormous responsibility”.

“I do have an expectation going forward, which is that both the President of the Nation and the Vice President come together how they got together 4 years ago. “Some of us believe that the electoral solution is to democratize the Frente de Todos and give the people the possibility of choosing the presidential formula that will be given the responsibility of competing, winning and leading the destinies of Argentina in the next four years,” he said.
Within this framework, the Minister of Social Development indicated that “it is beginning to order the stage that comes from unity in diversity” with the selection of the formulas, after the “divisions and internal views” that were made public.
“Now the time has come to channel those differences that the candidates will be able to carry out in a framework of coexistence. This will give strength to the Frente de Todos, and then the one who wins leads and the one who loses accompanies,” he concluded.
