But who says travel says tasting the culinary specialties of each region. In Touggourt, Ben tried the experience of tasting a new version of Algerian couscous. Indeed, the videographer has made it known that it is a couscous that he does not know yet.

The restaurant owner explains that it is the Bendrag. A vegetarian couscous, a specialty of the Touggourt region, made with vegetables, including spinach and purslane. Bendrag is a must on restaurant menus in Touggourt as well as at weddings and major events.
