CDMX.- The Eastern District Court of New York did not schedule hearings in the trial against former Secretary of Public Safety, Genaro García Luna, for this Thursday or tomorrow, so the proceedings will be resumed until next Monday, January 30. .

Before the trial began, Judge Brian Cogan reported that the hearings would take place Monday through Thursday for probably eight weeks.

Tirso Martínez Sánchez, “El Futbolista”, a former operator of the Sinaloa Cartel, also declared, who explained the way in which he sent dozens of tons of cocaine hidden in freight train wagons to New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.

Other presenters included Ernest Cain, a retired Chicago police officer; Jamal Hormedo, DEA Special Agent; Matthew Coleman, anti-narcotics agent; Noel Malony, a customs agent, and Steven Tamayo, an immigration officer, who reported different seizures in which they participated and whose drugs belonged to the Sinaloa Cartel.
