The mother of Blas Cinalli, one of the eight defendants for the crime of Fernando Báez Sosa, today considered what happened to the young law student as “a disaster” and “a very great misfortune”, while that of Maximiliano Thomsen, also defendant, said that it is “a nightmare”.

“It’s a disaster, a very big misfortune, I don’t even want to think what this boy’s parents have gone through, but we are also sorry and we suffered a lot,” said María Paula Cinalli, the mother of Blas Cinalli, when testifying this afternoon as a witness before the Oral Criminal Court (TOC) 1 of Dolores.

“As soon as we found out about all this, we didn’t know who the deceased was, we didn’t even know if it was my son. All this affected us a lot. It was an unfortunate event, a very great misfortune. It has affected us a lot, it continues to affect us, I don’t even want to think about what the parents of this deceased young man have suffered, I don’t even want to think about it,” he said, adding: “Afterwards, everything that has been created around us, we continue to suffer for the show media that has been armed”.

Upon hearing these words, Máximo Thomsen shed tears, while Fernando’s parents, Graciela Sosa and Silvino Báez, withdrew from the premises.

Then Rosalía Zárate, Thomsen’s mother, declared, “I can’t take it anymore. This is a nightmare, ”said the woman who broke down in her statement. Her son asked to testify and did so for almost an hour.
