A Temple University student was the victim of an armed carjacking just off campus on Sunday afternoon.
The incident was reported to have taken place in the 1500 block of Fountain Street in North Philadelphia.
Police revealed that the lady was walking towards her vehicle when she was approached by three subjects, who allegedly grabbed her by the neck against the car and asked her for the keys to the red 2017 Subaru Impreza.
The university was able to get rid of the presumed involved before they fled with the vehicle. The victim sustained lacerations to her right elbow, but she refused to be treated by paramedics.
The car was found, according to investigators, in the 200 block of Hagert Street.
Until now, no arrests have been made, nor have weapons been recovered. The investigation is still active.
