MEXICO CITY (appro). – The National Meteorological Service (SMN) of the National Water Commission (Conagua) forecast rains, accompanied by electrical activity, hail fall and gusts of wind, as well as floods in 13 entities, as well as an anticyclonic circulation at medium levels of the atmosphere will maintain the third heat wave over the Mexican territory.
This climate will be due to these phenomena that will occur on this day, such as “the subtropical jet stream in the northwest of the country, a dry line in the southeast of Mexico, low pressure channels, tropical wave number six and the entry of humidity in the Pacific Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea.
In this sense, in a 1:59-minute video, shared on his social networks, he urged the population of the mentioned states to attend to the notices of the SMN and follow the instructions of the state, municipal and Civil Protection authorities.
There will be heavy rains in Chiapas; very strong in Oaxaca, Tabasco, Campeche and Quintana Roo; strong in Chihuahua, Durango, Guerrero, southern Veracruz and Yucatán and showers in Coahuila, Sinaloa and Michoacán.
In Valle de Bravo, Ixtapan de la Sal and the north of Tejupilco, isolated rains are expected in the State of Mexico, while in Mexico City there will be hot weather, clear skies and mist.
Throughout the country, maximum temperatures are expected at 30 degrees and up to 35 degrees in Tlaxcala and Mexico City; from 35 to 40, in Baja California, Zacatecas, Aguascalientes, Guanajuato, Querétaro, the southwest of the State of Mexico, Oaxaca, Chiapas, Campeche and Quintana Roo.
The third heat wave will cause temperatures above 45 degrees in 7 states: Sonora, Coahuila, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosí, Veracruz and Tabasco.
From 40 to 45 degrees in Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Durando, Sinaloa, Nayarit, Jalisco, Colima, Michoacán, Morelos, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Puebla and Yucatán and above 45 degrees in Sonora, Coahuila, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosi, Veracruz and Tabasco.
The minimum temperatures, from 5 to 10 degrees, will be recorded in the mountainous areas of Baja California, Chihuahua, Durango, the State of Mexico, Puebla and Tlaxcala.
