“After each episode the three of us will talk about the characters we met, the choices they made, and how our heroes struggle to survive in a world where everything is trying to kill them.”, Troy Baker said in the announcement of the official The Last of Us podcast, which will be available on all major platforms according to his description.
The Last of Us is an acclaimed video game developed by Naughty Dog that originally came to the PlayStation 3 in 2013, with a PS4 remaster coming in 2014 and a PlayStation 5 remake launching last year. The Last of Us series adapts the story to a new medium and its first season will cover the entire story of the video game, while a second season could cover the events of the sequel.
Neil Druckman is the co-president of Naughty Dog and one of the series’ showrunners, as well as the creator, director, and writer of The Last of Us video games. Craig Mazin wrote the Chernobyl series for HBO and had been a fan of The Last of Us since before working on the series.
