Trump attends son Barron's graduation from Florida school

AFPTV images show the former US president, candidate in the November elections, sitting with his wife Melania on school steps in West Palm Beach, near his Mar-a-Lago residence.

In front of them are high school students wearing the traditional square hat, black dress and red scarf.

“I’m going to Barron’s high school graduation. Great student, great guy,” Donald Trump wrote in the morning on his Truth social network.

This ceremony in Florida offers him a family parenthesis in the middle of a trial in New York, whose political objectives against Trump are increasingly clear on the left and the extreme left.

On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, the former president listened to the testimony of his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, who was resentful and seeking revenge.

The judge recessed these hearings so Trump could attend his son’s graduation, an important moment for American families.

In early May, the Republican Party of Florida proposed the low-key Barron Trump to be one of the delegates called in July to officially designate his father Donald as a candidate for the US presidential election in November.

But although he declared himself “honored” by the election, Barron Trump declined the offer “due to prior commitments,” as announced the next day by the office of his mother Melania, former First Lady of the United States.
