At least 4 people in custody after drug raid at a Northwest Miami-Dade home

At least four suspects are in custody after a drug search warrant was executed at a Northwest Miami-Dade home early Friday morning.

The raid occurred at a home in the 3200 block of Northwest 20th Street, relatively close to the Miami International Airport.

Miami-Dade police officers confirmed that the Organized Crime Bureau’s Narcotics Section executed a search warrant at the home as part of an ongoing investigation, but did not provide further details.

Images from the scene showed officers from various agencies, including the DEA and US Customs and Border Protection at the home.

Several boxes and bags of evidence were removed from the house, along with underwater equipment, including scuba tanks and what appeared to be a diver’s propulsion vehicle, sometimes called an underwater scooter.

Authorities have not released the identities of the suspects or said what charges they will face. No other information was immediately available.
