Wade Robson and James Safechuck once again accuse Michael Jackson

For those who did not see the documentary, in it both Wade Robson and James Safechuck tell how they met the singer and in great detail, they recount the alleged abuses committed by Michael Jackson, which not only affected his childhood, but also his adult life.

This documentary does not show evidence before judges and is limited to presenting the testimonies of the victims in question. Something that brought much criticism to the documentary’s director, Dan Reedfor just showing a point of view on the case.

They had previously denounced, but their cases were dismissed

Although the documentary appeared in 2019, six years earlier (2013) both men presented their complaints against the companies MJJ Productions and MJJ Venturescorporations where Michael Jackson was the sole owner and shareholder.

In 2017 both cases were dismissed because they exceeded California’s statute of limitations (which is to report before your 26th birthday or three years after being assaulted). However, the laws changed in 2019 and gave survivors of sexual abuse a chance to file their complaints when they feel comfortable.

in the year 2020 Wade Robson and James Safechuck resubmitted their complaint, where in addition to accusing Michael Jackson, they pointed out the singer’s employees for being accomplices so that he could carry out his abuses.

The cases were dismissed once again in October 2020 and April 2021, since the authorities indicated that the accused companies had a duty to care for the children and therefore could not be blamed for the alleged abuses committed by Jackson.

Plaintiffs go against companies owned by Michael Jackson

back then California Judge Mark YoungHe said that this position was because Michael Jackson was the one who managed the accused companies, so no one had the power to control the possible actions of the singer who died in June 2009.

But now, the California Second District Court of Appeals has ruled that if a company facilitates the sexual abuse of children by one of its employees, it is not exempt from protecting those children just because the owner is the aggressor.

Who are the men accusing Michael Jackson?

James Safechuck met Michael Jackson in the late 1980s, cWhen he made a Pepsi commercial. The singer began to have contact with Safechuck and his family, so much so that the boy even accompanied him on his ‘Bad Tour’ for half a year.

Safechuck told the court that on several occasions Michael Jackson masturbated in front of him, touched his genitals and made him rub and suck on her nipples while the singer masturbated. That was the way it was for years, at least until Michael began to take an interest in another boy.

In the case of Wade Robson, he was a 5 year old from Australia who became known for his Michael Jackson impersonation. Robson met the singer after a concert and he told her to let him know if he ever came to the United States.

When the boy was 7 years old, his family traveled to California and contacted Michael Jackson, who invited them to spend a weekend at his Neverland ranchwhere the sexual abuse allegedly began by the artist who tried to rape him anally.

Both plaintiffs have been criticized before, as they have contradicted themselves in their statements (something that is explained in ‘Leaving Neverland’ as an effect of trauma). Apparently, now everything is in the hands of American justice…
