DORAL – Of the muertos and seven wounded is the result of a shooting recorded early Saturday morning in a bar located in CityPlace Doral, a busy shopping center in the city of Doral, in Miami-Dade.
According to the preliminary report from the authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 3:30 in the morning at the Martini Bar in CityPlace Doral, after an argument between customers escalated.
Investigators said a fight broke out around 3:30 a.m. Saturday at the Martini Bar in the CityPlace Doral shopping center in Doral, Florida. When a security guard intervened, an individual pulled out a gun and killed the guard, said Miami-Dade police detective Alvaro Zabaleta.
Police reported that officers from that body showed up at the bar to respond to the fight between customers. A security guard intervened in the incident to stop the argument and one of the participants pulled out a gun and shot him. Other members of the security force shot the attacker to neutralize him.
The security guard and the attacker died at the scene, while seven other people were injured in the brawl that ended with gunshots. Police reported that the injured were bystanders who were injured in the crossfire.
Among the victims are two women and five men, two of them, a woman and a man, are in critical condition and were rushed to nearby trauma centers. The other five are in stable condition according to the police report.
