The police are in the area of ​​the Nationaltheatret at Vika in Oslo following a report of a possible shooting incident on the night of Sunday.

The police state that two people are injured, and that first aid is being worked on the scene.

– Two people were located with injuries compatible with the use of firearms. The injured persons are now receiving health care, says operations manager Alexander Østerhaug in a message to the press.

A tipster tells VG that she heard four shots followed by screams and shouts. The tipster also says that a person was lying down and received first aid from passers-by before the police and ambulance arrived at the scene.

The police are looking for one or more perpetrators.
