Mexico City.- Two women and two minors were shot to death inside their home in the community of Acontitla, in Tihuatlán, Veracruz.
The events occurred around 1:00 p.m. this Tuesday, when neighbors heard firearm detonations in the area.
When responding to the report from the neighbors, authorities confirmed the death of the four members of the family, including a girl and a boy.
In a separate event, authorities found the bodies of two men in black bags in Colonia Carranza.
According to the reports, the victims showed signs of torture.
The event generated an intense mobilization of police elements from the three levels of government and even implemented a search operation to find those responsible.
Through a statement, the Veracruz State Attorney General’s Office explained that the facts are already being investigated and that both events could be a settling of scores between rival organized crime groups.
