Two women hospitalized after being shot yesterday by an unknown person in Hamilton Heights, Manhattan.

At around 8:40 p.m. this Monday, police were alerted to a shooting at 560 West 144th Street, between Amsterdam Avenue and Broadway.
When they arrived at the scene, they met the two victims, who they reported were attacked by an unknown person.
A 63-year-old woman was shot in the armpit and on the left side of her hip, while the other, 39-year-old, had a gunshot wound to her right leg.
Both were taken to the area hospital in stable condition.
At the moment there are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
