Ukrainian drones hit for the second time in two days the same skyscraper in Moscow's "City"

For the second time in a week, Ukrainian drones have attacked the Moscow financial district and hit the same building as on July 30.

This second attack has increased the unknowns regarding the actual Ukrainian target. According to the Ministry of Defense, the impact on July 30 against this skyscraper was accidental after the drone was diverted from its real objective by means of electronic anti-drone devices.

However, shortly after it was learned that the affected skyscraper houses three ministries of the Russian government: the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Ministry of Communications.

Besides, the building also houses a police station. Hundreds of reserved documents from the ministerial and police offices ended up scattered on the ground, as confirmed on social networks by several citizens who distributed photographs of the documents.

The second impact has triggered the theories that point to a possible Ukrainian intentionality when attacking this building in the Muscovite «City».

According to him mayor of the Russian capital anti-aircraft defenses shot down several Ukrainian drones, but “one hit the very tower of the financial complex in the city of Moscow.”

As a result of the impact, the glass and steel facade of the skyscraper was again damaged, although no injuries have been reported.

On this occasion, it was the façade of the 21st floor which was damaged with 150 square meters affected.

In addition, the government once again closed the Moscow Vnukovo airportas reported by Russian state agencies.

The new attack comes a day after the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky warned in a late-night speech that the attacks on Moscow were going to continue.

“Little by little, the war is heading to the territory of Russia, to its symbolic centers and its military bases. It is an inevitable, natural and absolutely fair process.

With today’s attack, there are already five attacks with drones that Ukraine successfully launched on different targets in the city of Moscow since the beginning of the war.
