Manchester United are keen to renew with Alejandro Garnacho. As the ‘Mirror’ reports, the Red Devils are ready to offer the 18-year-old an eight-year contract and a release clause. The latter in particular is rather unusual in the Premier League. It is said that the Argentine’s representatives have already agreed on a salary equivalent to around 36,000 euros per week – a teenager at Old Trafford has never received more.

With this generous contract offer, United want to bind Garnacho to the club as quickly as possible in order to forestall interested parties such as Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid. The winger played 16 competitive games this season, in which he contributed two goals and five assists. His contract expires in summer 2024.
