After a long manhunt lasting several days, Francisco Oropeza was arrested on Tuesday, reports CNN.

A manhunt comes to an end. Francisco Oropeza, a 38-year-old man accused of killing his neighbors in Cleveland, Texas, was arrested by police on Tuesday, reports the American media CNN.

More than 200 members of the American police force have been mobilized since Friday, April 28. “We have no leads,” FBI special agent James Smith said on Sunday.

Five dead

A reward of 55,000 dollars had been proposed by the governor and the FBI had matched this sum with an additional 25,000 dollars for anyone with information leading to the arrest of the suspect.

The shooter, Francisco Oropeza, is a 38-year-old man. While he was practicing shooting in his garden on the night of Friday to Saturday, his neighbors would have asked him to stop the noise in order to allow a baby to sleep. This is when Francisco Oropeza allegedly pointed the gun at them.

Law enforcement found four dead in the house and four people were taken to hospital, including a 9-year-old child who died of his injuries.
