Veracruz, Mexico.- The university student, Karina Casillas Gutiérrez, was murdered by her sentimental partner last Saturday in the port of Veracruz, but just last night the Veracruzana University (UV) reported on the crime.
The UV specified in a message its sentence against the 25-year-old girl, who was studying for a degree in Nutrition at the Veracruz-Boca del Río campus.
“The Veracruzana University (UV) joins the penalty that seizes family and friends of Karina Casillas Gutiérrez, a student at the Faculty of Nutrition, who was a victim of femicide last Saturday,” he said.
“The UVEA pronounces itself energetically against these acts of violence and calls on the competent authorities for justice to be done.”
In police information, it was reported that the victim was attacked last Saturday in the Medano del Perro subdivision, and her mother, seeing that she did not answer her messages, decided to go look for her at an address on Frank Liz Street.
Upon arriving at the house, he found his daughter’s body with stab wounds and next to her alleged assailant, identified as her sentimental partner, also with wounds to the abdomen.
