Sofie Karlstad claims there were many arguments at the Farmen farm that were never shown on TV.

– I have pot lids like ears, as my mother used to say when I was little. I bring everything with me. So even if I’m standing behind a stump or a corner edge, I get what Marit says when I’m not there, she tells TV 2, and continues:

– After a while (the courthouse is the place where the duels take place, journalist’s note), she spoke to Aslak. Then she said I was a bitch or a whore, or something like that.

Scouring up

Earlier this winter, TV 2 discussed an argument between Marit Andreassen and Sofie Karlstad.

The two participants say that the relationship was marked by an argument they had already in the first week, where they disagreed about how to take care of the cats on the farm.

See the cat discussion below:

This discussion was at the bottom, and the atmosphere between the two soured. This led to the two Farmen celebrity participants having several discussions in the coming days.

Andreassen acknowledges that she may have been a bit strict with Karlstad, and has previously apologized for it.

Andreassen explains that she has always thought that Karlstad is “a beautiful girl”, and did not mean anything bad by anything she said.

In a recent TV 2 interview, Sofie Karlstad says that there is more behind these discussions than TV viewers know.

– There was a lot that had come my way, which I had simply pushed away. One day … not that it exploded, but I wanted to say that she could rather bring it up with me privately. We were going to be on the farm for quite a few weeks, so it was good to talk.

She claims that it is the aforementioned bitch comment that is the basis for the argument in the video below. Not just the cat discussion, as it might seem in the clip below:

I don’t think it was ever said

When TV 2 contacted Marit Andreassen, she had the following to say about Karlstad’s claims:

– No, God the Father! I can’t remember that. It’s not a word I use either. I have a 16-year-old daughter, where I know that such language is frequently used. I am rather a strong opponent of that word, Andreassen answers to TV 2.

– In Northern Norway, “kjerring” can be used for so many things. But I don’t remember saying anything like that about Sofie, states the actor.

Andreassen adds that she thinks it is strange for Karlstad to bring this up more than half a year after the recording. The 56-year-old says that the two participants have met on several occasions since this summer, and there has always been a good tone between them.

– If I have said that, I am of course sorry for it. But I wish she would rather bring it up with me then and there, than now, seven months later.

Karlstad, who first became known via the scandal program Paradise Hotel, comes up with a somewhat controversial opinion:

– The farm is more dramatic than the Paradise Hotel. The arguments on the Farm are real. There are arguments like this where you want to hide under a pier, she says, and continues:

– At Paradise Hotel it’s more: “You stole my partner! You are ugly, stupid and stupid”. At Farmen we discussed racism and gender roles. Themes you don’t mess around with.

You can see the celebrity farm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays on TV 2 Direkte and TV 2 Play.
