The news that nobody hit the Mega Millions jackpot may be bitter for many, but very good for others.
Although there was no happy winner, the jackpot now stands at $1.55 billion, and is close to being the largest jackpot in lottery history.
And, in addition, several lucky ones matched several numbers and won up to $2 million in several states.
The winning numbers were: 11, 30, 45, 52, 56 and the Mega Ball 20. All you have to do is check your ticket to see if you were one of the lucky ones.

In the drawing for this Friday, August 4, there were 5,331,114 winning tickets at all prize levels. Nine tickets matched all five white balls to win the game’s second-tier prize.
- In Michigan and Tennessee, two tickets for $2 million each were sold, because in addition to hitting the five white balls, they included the optional Megaplier.
- In Texas, New York, Tennessee, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma another seven $1 million tickets were sold in each state.
- And across the country, 128 tickets matched four white balls plus the Mega Ball. The lucky 24 won $20,000 each, because they also included the optional Megaplier. The other 104 won $10,000 each.
