After serious fighting broke out between young people in the US city of Baltimore over the Easter weekend, the city’s mayor now wants to draw severe consequences. Around 200 young people are said to have fought in the Inner Harbor on Sunday evening.
As the police tried to break up the fighting, shots were probably fired. Baltimore Police Commissioner Michael Harrison said two teenagers were injured. A 14 year old and a 16 year old. Both are said to have been taken to hospitals. One of them is in critical but stable condition, the other is stable, it said media reports.
Mayor Brandon Scott responded to the controversy with a radical announcement. The young people of Baltimore should therefore feel transported back to the Corona period this summer.
