Yesterday afternoon, the Metropol bus line that provides the transport service between La Plata and Buenos Aires announced a cessation of activities from zero today, which has an impact on the trips of the people of La Plata to the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA).
The measure is adopted “due to lack of resources to operate.”
“Due to the continuous non-compliance of the Ministry of Transport of the Nation to a judicial measure favorable to Metropol”, they communicated from the company. They also stressed that services on lines 65, 90, 151, 194 and 195 will also be completely interrupted; and reduction on lines 176, 237, 276, 310, 326, 448, 507, 510B and 670.
Meanwhile, they indicated from the company: “We deeply regret the inconvenience, but it is an inevitable consequence of the repeated breaches.” On the other hand, the other line that transports passengers to the Federal Capital is 129, of Misión Buenos Aires, which has not reported any measures so far.
In this way it will be an alternative for users to take the train or use a rental car service to go to the CABA.
