On its website, developer Stunlock Studios has given a preview of what awaits you in V Rising in 2023, among other things.
This includes, for example, a free expansion of the game.
New content coming
The release of the first major content update is expected in May.
“This update is all about strengthening our foundation and creating new ways to live out the vampire fantasy,” it says. “For us, that means improving the way you already play by giving you more of what you already love. But it also means adding more depth and complexity to the world to accommodate the masterfully connecting things together.”
The goal is a satisfying endgame where everything boils down to a climax where you can reach your full potential.
“With the free expansion, you’ll be able to build bigger and better hideouts with more control than ever before, wield new weapons and magic, explore new areas, and encounter new bosses and factions. Vardoran gets bigger, darker, and deeper.”

At the same time, jewels come into play as a new item type. These are intended to strengthen and modify spells individually.
We want to give you the opportunity to try out numerous different combinations.
You can find them by defeating Clive the Firestarter and opponents of a similar level. They can also be found on weaker enemies, although not as often.
