Several days after the release of Patch 6.03 on VALORANT, the same team behind Riot’s free-to-play competitive FPS reveals more details about the launch of the new agents in VALORANT. In 2023, apparently, three new characters will arrive.

This was revealed by the producer of Riot Games John Goscicki in the last round of the “State of the Agents” series, proposed by the developers to keep fans informed about the future of the shooter title. As anticipated, of the three new agents one will be a Demolisher or Initiator, while one will be a Guardian, aka Sentinel. The third character is still shrouded in mystery: “We won’t fully reveal it yet, you’ll have to wait until the end of the year to find out”Goscicki said.

According to some fans, this missed teaser could be due to theintroduction of a new class in VALORANT or, otherwise, to the fact that Riot still can’t identify which class exactly the third Agent belongs to.

One thing is certain: with the addition of new characters not all classes will have the same number of agents, but the goal is always to maintain a good balance of roles and styles of play, as much as possible. Finally, it is already known that Agent 22 (next to arrive in VALORANT) should be able to find new ways to challenge opponents on the corners of buildings and surprising ways to place the Spike.

We just have to wait for the first official and final teaser videos to find out how they will work. Meanwhile, we also remind you that the Swiftplay mode will remain in the game after the Beta.
