Marco Verratti and Paris St. Germain remain loyal. As the French noble club announced, the 30-year-old has prematurely extended his contract until 2026. The previous working paper ran until 2024.

The Italian has long been one of the veterans at PSG. In 2012 he moved to the French capital from Delfino Pascara, who had recently been promoted to the first division and are now in the third division. The Parisians paid twelve million euros at the time.
It was an investment that should pay off. Verratti has appeared in 398 competitive games for PSG, scoring 11 goals and setting up 61 goals. Eight times he was French champion, six times cup winner. A few more titles will probably be added by the end of his time in Paris.
