This is the feat of these world championships in alpine skiing. The Canadian Laurence St-Germain created the surprise, Saturday February 18, by winning the slalom on the Roc de Fer in Méribel. Third at the end of the first run, the 28-year-old skier produced a spectacular second run to sign a cumulative time of 1’45”15 at the finish.
