Another point of claim is the state of the bathrooms. They say that half the toilets are closed, that they have broken doors to the outside and windows with missing glass.
“People who work and study at the school, as well as the families who were able to get closer, agree that said fracture worsens with the passing of days, which immediately represents the possibility of plaster detachment,” they indicated in dialogue. with this journal. They added that before beginning the current school year, the infrastructure personnel went to the school and authorized “without further precautions” the beginning of the activities, since this crack “caused the ceramics to break, exposing extremely dangerous edges that a few days ago caused cuts on the hand of a student”.
From the educational community they also complained because they went through the heat wave last month without fans, that is why they are “fed up”, as they expressed. In this framework they ask for “serious” repairs, that stoves be placed, gas leaks be repaired, bathrooms be fixed and that “School Infrastructure verify if the crack is structural or not, and that the relevant work begin.”
They insisted that “it is very difficult to achieve the pedagogical objectives if the space conditions are so hostile.”
It should be noted that this Secondary School is one of the two schools in the area with a physical education orientation, which is why they emphasize the importance of sport to bring young people closer to a healthy and orderly life, in addition to forming a very interesting field of work opportunities. “In this framework of possibilities that this discipline presents, our property has nothing more than a paddock for soccer and two posts buried in the patio to hang the volleyball net, posts that a supportive and goodwill teacher should have bought,” they said.
