Juarez City.- For half an hour, this afternoon the Córdova Américas bridge was closed by United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to carry out containment exercises.
Shortly after 7 pm, vehicular traffic was paralyzed in the middle of the international bridge, also popularly known as “Libre”.
A group of CBP agents climbed the “hump” of the bridge to practice the so-called containment exercises, in case of an invasion by migrants, especially with the completion of title 42 on May 11.
A few minutes before 8 p.m. the international crossing was reopened, reported users in groups reporting the bridges on social networks.
