Accidents do not give respite in La Plata. This Friday there was a violent crash, which ended with one of the cars embedded in a house.
The episode happened at noon at the corner of 52 and 30. Two vehicles collided there and one of them, a Volkswagen Polo, collided with the wall of a house. The other, a Hondo truck, resulted in a damaged front end.
Due to this road incident, two people ended up injured, and they had to be assisted by an ambulance from Same, which arrived at the scene. The police who ordered traffic were also present, since vehicular chaos had been generated at a time of high traffic because it was a “rush hour”.
As reported by the neighbors, it is one more accident than those that occur daily at the intersection of those streets. In this sense, they explained that “vehicles that circulate on 52 do so at very high speed and do not stop on the left. We are tired of seeing these events every day.”
They also argued that “the Municipality does nothing about it. They have not placed a donkey’s back or a stop sign in order to avoid more accidents.”
