The Vorarlberg New Year’s baby was born in Dornbirn this year. However, it was not enough for first place in Austria.
At 1.36 a.m. he arrived at the Dornbirn hospital Vorarlberg little Ida Andrea was born. At a height of 51 cm, the girl weighs 2,774 grams. Mother and child are doing well.
Upper Austria and Styria are going head-to-head this year for the New Year’s baby.
Austria’s New Year Babies
According to the country, little Minel from Wels came Upper Austria at midnight in the Wels-Grieskirchen clinic, Johanna from the Styria at 40 seconds after midnight in the state hospital in Hartberg. At first, Minel did not have a number of seconds, but according to APA research, it should be slightly ahead.
Minel was born at the Wels site of the Wels-Grieskirchen Clinic. At birth she weighed 4,390 grams and was 57 cm tall. Her parents Ahmet and Aynur live in Wels. No Johanna is 51 cm tall and weighs 3,680 grams. The mother and her first child are doing well, the LKH Hartberg announced.

Vienna: Little Leonora was the first baby to be born in 2023 in a clinic run by the Vienna Health Association. The girl was born Sunday morning at 12:07 a.m. in the Hietzing Clinic. She is 47 cm tall and weighs 2,218 grams. Mother and baby are doing well.
In Lower Austria Little Rocky was born at 0.30 a.m. in the state hospital in St. Pölten. The boy weighs 3,515 grams and is 52 cm tall. Little Antonia was born at 2.21 a.m. in the Tulln University Hospital. She weighs 3,040 grams and is 51 cm tall.
At 1.07 a.m. in the hospital Oberpullendorf im Burgenland little Barbara was born. She weighs 3,260 grams and is 51 cm tall.
Also at 1.07 a.m. in Tyrol Alexandar was born in the Zams state hospital. At a height of 53 cm, it still manages to weigh 3,945 grams. The boy is his mother’s third child.
In Salzburg Little Amelie saw the light of day at 1.17 a.m. in the Cardinal Schwarzenberg Clinic in Schwarzach im Pongau. The girl weighs 2,560 grams and is 45 cm tall.
The first baby Carinthia in the year 2023 should have been born at 1.06 a.m. in the LKH Klagenfurt. It’s a girl. No other information about the child was released. Florian Liberatus was born at 2.29 a.m. in the Villach State Hospital. The young Carinthian weighs 2,420 grams and is 47 cm tall. Here, too, mother and child are doing well.
