A company responsible for ChatGPT, OpenAI, announced an initiative that aims to reward security researchers who find errors, security vulnerabilities and other ‘bugs’ on the company’s platforms – including the Artificial Intelligence tool.

The objective of the initiative is to make OpenAI’s platforms more resilient, seeking to prevent ‘hackers’ and other malicious agents from gaining access to the company’s services and customer data.

“We invite you to report vulnerabilities, ‘bugs’ or security flaws that you find in our systems. By sharing your discoveries, you will play a crucial role in making our technology safer for everyone.”can be read in the OpenAI statement.

This initiative will take place on the platform bugcrowd and it is already known that, for more serious vulnerabilities, OpenAI can pay up to 20 thousand dollars (18.2 thousand euros) and, for simpler faults, the minimum value is 200 dollars (182 euros).
