Dear Clio, bad driver? The Dortmund police caught another speeder on the Wall – and not for the first time.
On again Race on the Dortmund Wall: On Wednesday night, the police stopped a speeding small car. The driver had the “well camouflaged” civil patrol apparently not noticed.
At around 1:30 a.m. he overtook Swords (19) the officials with his Renault Clio on the east wall. Sometimes the car is even Tempo 110 driven, the police write in a statement. However, only 30 km/h are permitted at night. In addition, the risk-taking (or simply inexperienced) driver changed lanes several times – in “aggressive driving”, according to the police.
Young Raser (19) is not the first time
The frenzy was followed by a risky one emergency braking: On known speed camera the young man braked so hard that the Renault almost stopped and the hazard warning lights went on.
The police stopped the speeder and found at the control out: The sword was already known to the police because of a similar incident. The officers seized the car, driver’s license and cell phone. The 19-year-old is now expecting one advertisement for participating in an illegal race.
