And he seems to like his job as a hunter: “It’s much more pleasant to sit upstairs than downstairs as a candidate. There you have a better overview,” explains Hobiger in his typical short and dry manner in a short interview on the Facebook page of “Sought – Hunted”. But when he was asked if he was afraid of the moderator singing Alexander Bommes a brief smile crosses his lips. “The fear is great.”
In an interview with the Mainpost, Hobiger also reveals how his quiz training works: “I read a lot and I like reading, but I don’t have a systematic approach. If you play quizzes regularly, you train with it. In any case, I don’t memorize Wikipedia lists , at least not only to do good quizzes, but also out of our own interest.” His specialties are geography, nature, science, history and culture. And his weaknesses? “I have less idea in the areas Movie, TV, gossip and gossip.”
The “quiz volcano” seems to be a weakness for Squirrel to have. He regularly shares pictures on Twitter in which the stuffed animals are either hidden or can be seen en masse.
