Star Wars Jedi: Survivors is the focus of the latest edition of IGN First. The website promises a bunch of reveals about the upcoming action-adventure during February, starting with a longer look at how the game works.

Watch nine minutes from Star Wars Jedi: Survivors.

The video – which you can see to the right of the article – shows nine minutes of actual gameplay. Here we see Cal Kestis exploring Koboh, a brand new planet you visit early in the game.

On the planet, a number of challenges await, in the form of platform sequences and battles against droids, aliens and four-legged creatures.

The battle system in particular gets a lot of stage time. Cal uses various Jedi properties, which for example make time go slower or lift enemies into the air. Close combat is of course also an important part of the experience, and here you can choose between a single lightsaber, one in each hand or two linked together in Darth Maul style.

The sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was originally unveiled just under a year ago. The game was originally due out on March 17, but recently had to be delayed to give Respawn more time to polish and refine.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is now coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on April 28.
