In the Amphitheater of Sorrows there were more than 3,000 people / télam

In La Plata, Dolores, Villa Gesell, and throughout the country, there were moments of emotion and sadness in the different events that took place for the three years since the assassination of Fernando Báez Sosa. “Justice is perpetual” was the unanimous request of all those who participated with banners and candles.

Graciela Sosa and Silvino Báez, Fernando’s parents, led the interreligious ceremony and a solidarity collection before a crowd gathered at the Amphitheater in the city of Dolores.

“Without Fernando, our life is over,” they expressed through tears.

First they lit some candles, then they planted a jacaranda and then a song was sung.

“We do not want revenge, we want them to pay for what they did to our son,” they remarked.

Under warm applause and tears from those present, the act ended.
