Weather Forecast: July 4th

A tropical wave southeast of St. Cruz will continue to interact with the upper-level trough for most of Tuesday, so showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue in local waters, occasionally moving east and south from Puerto Rico.

In the afternoon, this activity is expected to continue mainly over western Puerto Rico.

Drier air with dust from the Sahara behind the tropical wave will move over the area in the evening.

There is a moderate risk of marine currents for the beaches facing north, east and south of Puerto Rico, Vieques, Culebra, and the US Virgin Islands.

Pending The Authority in Time to keep you informed about weather conditions.
