Welfare Pension increased by 25%: When do you deposit the first payment?

Not everything is bad at the beginning of the year, since from this month the increase in the Welfare Pension came into effect, from which the elderly, people with disabilities and working mothers will benefit.

These increases have already been published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) within the new rules of the Program’s operation plan, where it is reported that for this year the benefit will increase by 25 percent, going from 3,850 pesos to 4,800 pesos.

In the case of grandparents affiliated with the program, they will receive bimonthly support with an increase of 962.50 pesos, people with disabilities will receive 2,950 pesos every two months; last year they received 2 thousand 800 pesos.

And the support for the Well-being of Girls and Boys, Children of Working Mothers will go to 1,600 pesos every two months. Although this will not be the last increase since the Government projects that the increase in the Pension will continue by 2024, trying to reach an amount of 6 thousand pesos every two months in the case of older adults.

When will the first deposit of the 2023 Welfare Pension be made?

It is important to remember that payments are made bimonthly and during this year it will be in the months of: January, March, July, September and November, but there are usually changes due to elections in the different states, such is the case. example of future elections in the State of Mexico and Coahuila.

With the exception of these two entities, the payment with the new amount will be deposited from January 2 to 10) by last name as follows:

January 4.- Letters A, B and C

January 5.- D, E, F, G and H

January 6.- I, J, K, L and M

January 9.- N, Ñ, O, P, Q and R

January 10.- S, TU, V, W,W, X, Y and Z
