Nicolai Rapp and SV Werder Bremen are temporarily going their separate ways. As announced by the Green-Whites, the 26-year-old is going on loan to 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the second division. With regard to the loan, Clemens Fritz explains: “Rappo approached us because he wanted more playing time than he got from us last time. We want to make this possible for him with the loan to Kaiserslautern, but we still see the potential for him to make more appearances in the Bundesliga.”

In the current season, the 1.86 meter tall central midfielder has been an outsider at Werder. Now he should collect a league of deep match practice in order to become an option again in the coming season.
