West Ham United are apparently planning to bring Paulo Fonseca on board. According to ‘The Guardian’ information, the 50-year-old Portuguese is one of the potential successors to David Moyes, who is still employed as head coach of the Hammers. For its part, Fonseca is tied to Lille OSC until 2024. Accordingly, the English first division club would have to pay a transfer fee for Fonseca.

While a final decision on Moyes’ future has yet to be made, the report says signs are pointing to change. Patience with the English coach has decreased in recent months, even if the results in the Europa Conference League are satisfactory. In the Premier League, however, West Ham is only 15th and only four points ahead of a relegation zone.
