BBC reports that Admiral Rob Bauer, chairman of the alliance’s military committee, told the Warsaw Security Forum that countries must “accelerate production” of military stockpiles.

Admiral Bauer said some NATO nations have sent ammunition to Kiev, although their warehouses are less than half full.

British Defense Minister James Heappey also reportedly told the forum that Western supplies “look a bit thin” as he urged NATO members to commit to spending 2% of GDP on defence.

“We have to keep Ukraine in the fight tonight and tomorrow and the day after,” he said.
