Although at first it was thought that it was the work of some motorcyclists who were seen in the area, it was all due to a demonstration of several peasants who are heading to CDMX to speak with the president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO).
According to portals like Processthe peasants in question began their demonstration in Cuernavaca, last Saturday, May 6, and They seek AMLO to give them an answer for the payment of compensation for their landswhich were used for the construction of the Siglo XXI Highway.

The peasants indicate that since the last administration the Federal Government has not paid them what corresponds to them for said highway that goes from Veracruz to Acapulco and that occupied part of their lands in the municipality of Puente de Ixtla for years.
